As we commemorate Black History Month, it is important to reflect on the invaluable wisdom passed down to us by our ancestors. Their teachings continue to resonate with us today, reminding us of the significance of their lives. Recently, I have learned the importance of resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity. Their experiences have inspired me to approach challenges with determination and to strive for meaningful change. Let us honor their legacy by actively incorporating their lessons into our own lives. While the schools and banks claim Black History is learned only during one month, I feel very differently. Black history should be celebrated every day, and it is a priority for me and my team to consistently be elevating the black voices in my community and learning where our gaps are to better serve our clients.
