President, Atlassian

I’m thrilled to share that Atlassian has achieved the FedRAMP Moderate "In Process" designation—a significant milestone as we expand our commitment to serving customers in the U.S. public sector. This brings Atlassian one step closer to achieving FedRAMP Moderate Authority to Operate (ATO), slated for the first quarter of calendar year 2025. As of today, Atlassian Government Cloud is now listed on the FedRAMP marketplace and includes Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. FedRAMP is a massive, cross-functional effort that we're committed to investing in over a multi-year horizon. A big thanks to our teams, led by CTO Rajeev Rajan, for their dedication to delivering the highest standards of security and compliance for our public sector customers. Great news indeed👍 may be a deal breaker for some industries. Currently running tech assessment for a US Client and this one was one of the criteria. Even the commitment it's gonna be done in Q1 2025 can already be enough to go/no go decision and adoption of Atlassian cloud products 🔥

This is incredible! One step closer to allowing customers with FedRAMP requirements to leverage Atlassian's great products and services. This is no small feat; my prior company achieved this designation after years of dedicated, diligent work of highly-skilled professionals. This is a huge investment in the future of Atlassian and those customers who require FedRAMP certified services. Great work, Atlassian team!

Great news for partners and customers, alike. Exciting stuff for PubSec and heavily regulated industries.
