Had an opportunity to see a brilliant play yesterday at Ranga Shankara, called Anthill, with my parents. The play poses lot of questions to the audience right from the first scene. And has multidimensional themes. At the beginning, the actors ask a subtle question through humor, that why are artists not given their dues in society. Then through the Dohas of Kabir they ask - isn't love the most important trait of humanity? And that why do we all fight with each other on account of our differences? The play's central theme is about a man who is bogged down by corporate work culture and begins to shrink and thinks of staying in an anthill. It emphasizes the fact that at workplaces, there should be dignity, respect and equity among employees, as well as comfort. The play also calls upon each individual to dig deep into their inner self and not always look externally to find peace. With great acting, creativity, brilliant usage of light and darkness, the playwright Swetanshu Bora has done a great job. #workculturematters #dignity #respect #equity

Hi apoorva ravi. Many thanks for your post. You seem to be concerned about mental health and gender issues, both important causes for us. Delighted you were in the audience to support ANTHILL like this. May we quote you in our publicity?
