Here's a few interesting facts about Erik as a person 👇: What are you passionate about? - Helping provide solutions that solve challenges organizations are facing. Even better when doing so has positive outcomes for those we are working with (i.e. getting them recognized for the work they did, getting them promoted based on impact to the business, etc.) What could you give a 30-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation? - The evolution of communications tech over the last quarter century (my personal journey of course) If you could visit anywhere in the world you've never been, where would you go? - Baku, Azerbaijan What's your secret talent that no one knows about? - I'm REALLY good at Galaga (1980s video game) What's the craziest thing you've ever done? - Too many to mention, but generally all related to my college years What app can you not live without? - ESPN - I'm a sports nut Favorite recipe? - This I'll have to chew on (ha, ha). Probably Mom's Apple Pie. She never really had a recipe, but the secret is Granny Smith Apples. It gives it the tartness it needs. Guilty pleasure? - Sunday brunch Mimosas Best piece of advice? - Ensure a work/life balance that works best for you. Allow your failures to motivate and make you a better person in your personal and professional life and celebrate success with those who played a part in you getting there (few of us go it alone). Good things take time. In a career in sales, perseverance is key—even when armed with an amazing product. Not every conversation will yield immediate results; it can sometimes be a slow burn. Then suddenly, it comes together and you secure the listing. As the market evolves and people increasingly realise the importance of having low and no options, we're witnessing a shift in mindset. Throwing back to last week where we had the awesome team building activity & pre-Christmas celebration in Roche conducted by PeopleLink. First and foremost, I was really impressed by the creative ideas from the energetic trainers. Never have I thought we would have a successful yet memorable team building with a time restriction of 2 hours. Thanks to Peggy & Daphne😁 It was incredible to finish the Christmas Shopping Challenge in such a short period of time - a mere half an hour! Wouldn't have done this so perfectly without great team work! Its powerful ☃ We were separated into small groups to buy food in Sunway Pyramid for another team. The most unexpected thing was that every team bought food from different shops/restaurants, with literally no repetitive food presented on the table! Different unique ideas bring fruitful results😉 Being one of the organizing committees, seeing every happy faces and increased interactions between the members made me feel unprecedentedly satisfied, although unpredictable challenges occurred at the planning stage. And yeah, I'm so motivated and excited to organize more impactful team building activities next year! Cheers to many more incoming Team Building Activities 🎊

It’s been a while since we introduced you to some of the members of our team – we’d like you to meet Coline Estrade who is our beyond brilliant Office Manager. Not only does Coline ensure the smooth running of Goose HQ, she also bakes us the most incredible goodies, (but that’s not the reason we love her… not the only one anyway!) and generally looks after us all. She is an all-round lovely human🥰 What can Coline tell us about herself? Q: How long have you worked at Goose and what were you doing before? A: I have been working at Goose since April 2023, just a little bit over a year. Before that, I had spent around 6 years in retail, starting from being a Sales Assistant to Manager in the Beauty and Wellbeing industry. Q: What do you like most about being part of Team Goose? A: The people! I never feel anxious about going into the office on a Monday because I know that even if the work can be stressful at times, at Goose I am always surrounded by good people, everyone is friendly and we joke around a lot, I have met some amazing people and feel very privileged to call them my colleagues. Q: What’s one thing you’ve learnt recently? A: I have learnt to not fear asking for help, I often tend to want to figure something out by myself and forget that my colleagues are also here to help, it’s all about teamwork and it’s ok to ask questions, we learn every day. Q: What’s your favourite thing to do outside of work? A: I love to bake, do some shopping and going for coffees and a stroll with friends. Two people that you see in this wonderful video made by tiket.com are our Blind and Deaf Mentees: Zaenal and Fauzi. This interaction and collaboration truly fills my soul! I am so proud of both tiket.com as a company and its employees (our Mentors), but also the interns (our Mentees) for making it happen. Together they break the glass ceiling: employing, embracing, accepting and working with persons with Disability! Because even though Disability employment has progressed in recent years, we haven't solved all problems yet. According to 2020 data, there's only 28.6% of PwD in Indonesia that work in the formal sector. Therefore through our Leadership & Inclusive Training (LIT) programs, Yayasan Helping Hands is creating a concrete and sustainable ecosystem that connects special education schools and companies. We are working with various stakeholders to ensure that students with Disability are getting the knowledge, skills and real experience that are needed to thrive and succeed in the 21st century. It's easy to say that disability should not be a barrier to achieve success, but it's harder to accept that it should not be a barrier for all of US to achieve success TOGETHER. This is my invitation for us to see what we can do as an individual and company to open up work accessibility to PwD.
