Roche jumps into the ADC frenzy. A relatively affordable deal, considering the market as of late, Roche is partnering with China's MediLink to develop, manufacture and market solid tumor targeting Antibody-Drug Conjugates. The deal is preliminarily worth $50 million, with up to a billion dollars if the product comes to market. Roche's CEO Severin Schwan had previously indicated in 2022 that the organization had "rather limited interest" in the space given the density of products in the pipeline for the industry. Summary: Cartesian Therapeutics, a biotech company, successfully conducted a Phase 2 trial with its experimental therapy for myasthenia gravis, showing promising results in improving patients' conditions. It’s going with Novartis, the maker of the first FDA-approved CAR-T. Novartis will pay the New Jersey-based biotech $100 million upfront in exchange for the exclusive global license to certain CAR-T cell therapies that go after delta-like ligand protein 3, or DLL3. I am excited to announce the launch of Diagonal Therapeutics. We are advancing a ground-breaking approach to agonist antibody therapeutics. Our DIAGONAL platform has enabled the discovery of agonist antibodies to four different heteromeric receptor complexes.
