The staff in Cayambe wanted to make a trip to the beach a possibliity for the children in the Home for At Risk Children. We decided that we wanted to take the children and all of the staff to the beach to reward them for their hard work as well as to make it be a big send off for the Delps as they transition to the US for Ministry Assignment. Most all of the children in the Home have never been to the beach even though it isn’t that far away. Additionally, some of the staff members have never seen the sea as well. We want to have a retreat for the staff and the children to be able to enjoy the beach together. The Santiago Partnership has decided to support the FACE staff in achieving this dream. The budget for the trip is only $3,000. We will be receiving donations between now and the end of May (May 31st). We ran campaign to raise funds for needy and poor children. The fund was raised to donate school bags for the poor children. We were managed to raise over 13000 rupees. We donated over 30 bags to poor children. Our CDP started from 15 June to 13 July 2023. In the process of raising funds we learnt so many things, campaign taught us how to interact with different people, how to convince other people for the right work, how to mange our own team. It was a wonderful experience. Everyday we used to approach different people for donation, some helped and some refused, but we kept on going. It was the determination of helping others which kept us going. This project has taught me to kept on going for helping others. It has awoken a urge in me for helping needy people and needy animals. We did our CDP with DV SINGH FOUNDATION FOR CHILD DEVELOPMENT.
