It's always a pleasure being in London, with the ability to visit good bookstores before I return to Adelaide, Australia. My reading list is sorted with books that I look forward to getting stuck in. These books reflect recent conversations I had and my lifelong interests. Thought I'd share my reading list! Alex Edmans - "May Contain Lies: How stories, statistics and studies exploit our biases - and what we can do about it." My interest in this is related to the book below. So many opaque concepts, misinformation, incorrect knowledge repackaging and extraction of science that lead to harm. Mariana Mazzucato & Rosie Collington - "The Big Con: How the consulting industry weakens our businesses, infantilizes our governments and warps our economies". With a provocative title like that, combined with the recent conversations I had, I am definitely looking forward to reading this. Philip Ball - "Curiosity: How Science Became Interested in Everything". This book was released in 2012, but the title definitely speaks to me. I've always been a curious person ever since I was a boy. Stephen D. King - "We Need To Talk About Inflation". So much have been talked about inflation, but I still want to know more.

Brilliant list. ‘The Big Con’ gets a nod in my own upcoming book, part of the phenomenon behind the rise of the populist CX movement, which comports with Edmans posit of serious (business) harm via misinformation. I’ll be getting a copy of his book - thank you!
