With the summer art-selling season nearly upon us, I thought I'd share 5 tips for selling more art. 1. Prioritize audience growth. 📈 Summer is a key time of year to focus on connecting with new art buyers that would love your work. 2. Consider your next big niche. One of the fastest ways to level up your art business is to tap into a new niche of passionate art buyers, and it only takes a single piece to do it. Yes, this is a little contrary to traditional advice around going "all-in" on a single niche, but I've found it to be a MUCH faster path to success. 💪 3. If you take advantage of local art shows, be sure to get the MOST out of them. 💰 In addition to sales, you can get more value from shows by harvesting feedback on your selection, social media followers, email sign-ups, and more. EXTRA TIP 👉 Capturing social media content while you’re at shows can be a good way to make efficient use of your time. 4. Prepare your website for the fourth quarter rush. 🔨 It's NO fun to have to do this in a hurry in September. Work on your website (or get a new one 🙂) this summer to make sure you're ready for the biggest art-selling months of the year. 5. Don't miss any of the big art-selling opportunities throughout the summer. 🌴 Some of the dates we're providing our members with strategies for include: June 1-9: Father’s Day Art-Buying Season June 11: Make Life Beautiful Day June 20-23: Summer Kick-Off Event July 4: Independence Day July 18: Get To Know Your Customer’s Day July TBD: Prime Day August 7-16: Summer Collector Event August 19: World Photography Day The summer season is PACKED with these opportunities to grow your audience and sell your art.
