Since the Arthrex global headquarters is in the USA, the 4th of July was the perfect occasion for us to indulge in a traditional barbecue. We celebrated the Stars and Stripes and the common ground that unites us across the globe. Here‘s to good food, great conversations, and the best colleagues!

The ArthroLab™ was abuzz on Tuesday for a 1-day knee arthroscopy course covering meniscus refixation and the treatment and reconstruction of ACL tears. The FESSH Congress in Rotterdam was a great place to reconnect with top hand surgeons from across Europe. On June 11 and 12 we held the 5th Arthrex Trauma Congress at our Regional Head Office in Munich. Over 100 surgeons from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland came together to discuss complex fracture and revision treatments as well as innovations in Foot and Ankle, Knee, Shoulder, and Elbow, led by our expert faculty. Live lab demonstrations were performed for both the upper and lower extremities, focusing on approaches and treatment options for the ankle, proximal tibia, elbow, and shoulder arthroplasty.

Last Friday, the first EMEA Cardiothoracic Meeting took place in Munich. Participants from 10 different nations engaged in insightful presentations covering topics such as the introduction of FiberTape Cerclage as a method of choice for sternal closure, how PRP can help in the healing process, and NanoNeedle enhances cardio thorax techniques. Lab Sessions provided hands-on experience, and a Q&A session about PRP was held. #ArthrexInnovation #CardiothoracicSurgery
