2023 Product Evolution and looking towards 2024 🚀 In our last post we spoke of the industry changes and pressures witnessed over 2023, which helped shape our product and provided additional focus on what we feel is key for the industry going forward - using data to build safe sustainable environments for your customers. In 2023 we quietly launched our partnership program 🤝 ; by engaging with different iGaming operators it has enabled us to capture early feedback, give them means to see the possible and allowing us to iterate rapidly to bring our product to a state where it can generate real meaningful value. Taking into account UKGC reforms and enforcement trends we have made several enhancements, including: 🎯 Full revision of SGC models, 🎯 Significant enhancements to player interaction interface, 🎯 Building a player risk profile explorer, allowing agents a means to visually explore a players behaviour and allow them to see changing risk patterns, 🎯 Player risk mitigation guidelines in the interface itself, 🎯 Enhanced reporting including, top 'N' depositors, winners and losers reports, 🎯 Insights in contributing factors responsible for player risk increase, 🎯 Ongoing improvements to make the UX/UI as clean and easy to understand as possible 2024 is shaping to be a big year, our 2024 product roadmap is looking ambitious, including some exciting LLM (Large Language Models) based tooling to make agents even more effective and the prospect of making our system generally available which we are very excited about. 👉 Technology Update Vakandi is building our platform in AWS which allows us to achieve scalability that would be hard to match (cost effectively) in a traditional data center. We had the opportunity to attend re:Invent this year to speak to AWS solution architects, validate our architecture, and learn about new services and features that we can leverage for our customers' benefit. While we’ll save a deep dive for another post, there are several technologies we’re looking forward to working with to reduce friction for our customers and, in turn, reduce the risk to theirs. Event stream processing improvements mean that we will be able to move closer to real-time, low-latency transaction risk analysis. LLMs are the hot topic, one that we have been looking at very closely. Vakandi engineering team have been experimenting with several ways we could judiciously apply this technology to reduce friction for our customers: Imagine you could ask questions like “Who are our riskiest customers? What are the top 5 highest-risk transactions that happened yesterday?” Stay tuned, we are excited with what is possible here. 🙏 Closing Remark 2023 was indeed a big year for us 🎉 but most of all we look forward to 2024 🚀 , knowing that our increasing capabilities will take a huge leap forward.
