I've been getting bored with the basic cube I was using to visualize the AI, so I decided to test my 3D modeling skills in Blender. I finally came up with a model that I think looks pretty good for now. I've really been enjoying this AI of mine and I'm thinking of giving it a name. Any recommendations? #AI #unity #C #gamedevelopment #3D #blender

What is the hash tag for procedural 3d modeling? How are the work flows and data streams managed for parts shopping lists and schedules?

Generative AI is super cool… BUT I’m continually blown away with the work happening in ‘procedural’ 3D modelling. Especially given these plugins are for a free (!) 3D tool like Blender. We needed a fancy Houdini license to do this just a few years ago 🤯 This plugin is called icity3d and is available on blender market. #3d #cg #vfx #ai

🚀 AI's doing textures now? What's next, virtual coffee runs? 😂 Just checked out Stable Projectorz, and it's like having a creative sidekick that knows a thing or two about 3D. Shoutout to Igor Aherne for making our screens a little more... textured. Thoughts on AI stepping into the artist's studio? #3DDesign #StableProjectorz #AICreativity
Generative AI has seen a new shift for 3D. The Reddit communities have been buzzing with the creation of Stable Projectorz- a software that will do your 3D asset texturing for you. It is developed by Igor Aherne, a game developer on the Unity3D platform. Stable Projectorz operates similarly to Midjourney, allowing users to input positive and negative prompts. It then utilizes these prompts to generate textures. The software projects an image created via stable diffusion from the camera view, texturing the visible part of the model. A masking tool is included for in-painting the untextured areas, resulting in a complete texture. Users can export the texture map for further refinement in programs like Photoshop. However, the software requires a dataset or a pre-trained model, which users must provide independently or through resources like Civitai. That is not to say that it is the future and such software has no implications. If we take note of the Reddit threads, it can be said that this software might hamper the livelihood of 3D artists. Based on our preliminary usage, we anticipate that Stable Projectorz will evolve to significantly enhance the creation of 3D assets. Its efficiency in conceptualizing and pre-visualizing 3D models shows promise for rapidly generating high-quality 3D assets. #stablediffusion #ai #genai #3d #ikarus3d #texturing #texturingsoftware

Founder & CEO of Crema | Designing teams and technology that helps service organizations thrive. Focused on Built-World & MSSP firms
I’ve recently seen some work like this being done in engineering. I’m fascinated by the intersecting of industries like this. Gaming - Engineering Enterprise software - space planning Online education - HR development Architecture - UX design Cyber security - insurance I’m convinced we spend so much time navel gazing at our own work that we don’t allow ourselves to be inspired by those adjacent to us. In the 15 years of Crema I’ve studied hundreds of companies. Startups - global enterprises Services - Product B2B - B2C Sports brands - financial services In some ways this is what AI has been attempting to do as well. Collect all the ideas and generate the concepts between them. We ought to do the same thing. This is why I still believe that consulting, design, and creativite firms have a bright future. Sure, enabled by ai. But ultimately helping companies connect dots of opportunities they don’t see before. Keep playing Keep learning Keep exploring Keep making.

It is all “intelligence modeling”. There is nothing artificial about it. Intelligence persists where it can. Bubbles come and go. https://lnkd.in/eFNjtnFS

Procedural tools have a lot more control built in too.

Part 2: Render Blender 3D Scene with AI Stable Diffusion This time, I used a more complex 3D model (Godzilla). The problem with this model is that the AI had difficulty recognizing the facial expressions, especially when Godzilla’s mouth is closed. I believe the solution for this issue is to train a machine learning model exclusively for Godzilla. In this video, there are two output versions. In the first video, I reduced the ControlNet strength and increased the Ksampler steps to allow the AI to be more creative(notice how it added moving cars and glowing buildings). In the second video, the ControlNet strength is high and the Ksampler steps are low. Regarding the 3D scene in Blender, it’s just the Godzilla and mountain behind him, as in Part 1, I rendered four passes: depth, cryptomatte, freestyle, and normals. It took me a long time to test different values in ComfyUI to achieve this result. #stablediffusion #blender

First day of re-learning Blender and 3D modeling (it's been decades)! I needed a reference image to use based off my imagination though, which is where I used Dall-E 3 to whip up a quick AI generated reference image of what I was imagining. Excited to go further and finally learn about materials! Eventually this little one will be rigged, animated, and voiced! #dalle3, #blender, #3dmodeling, #openai

Patrones Artificiales by Daniel Escobar. Join us for our upcoming workshop, “PixelSpace: Intro to 3D Generative AI” which will focus on the automation of 3D scene generation from text and images. The workshop will led by creative designer and 3D generative AI researcher Daniel Escobar (@daniel.esco1) co-founder of the @diffusion_architecture, on August 31 – September 1, 2024. Register Now: Tap the🔗 link: https://lnkd.in/eGhXyrpr This workshop will explore the cutting-edge techniques of multiview diffusion models conditioned on camera paths for 3D scene generation. We will dive into the latest methods for representing 3D scenes and geometry and investigate how current research in 3D generative AI leverages pre-trained image and video models for a 3D generation. Participants will learn how to use text and image inputs to generate scenes, which will then be imported into Unreal Engine for post-production and to create a concept reel. 📑 Topic: PixelSpace: Intro to 3D Generative AI 📅 Date: August 31 – September 1, 2024 🕕 Time: 15:00 - 19:00 GMT ⚒️ Software: Blender, Unreal Engine, Luma 🧑🏼🎓 Total Seats: 50 Seats 🛒 15% Discount for Digital Members. #artificialintelligence #midjourney #parametricdesign #computationaldesign #architecturestudents #formgeneration #unrealengine #blender
