Happy to share our latest publication where we characterized the temporal N-glycan signatures during the progression of liver disease from fatty liver up to liver cancer. Mast Cells in #rheumatoidarthritis: 😊 Mast cells exhibit diversity in both phenotype and function, potentially influenced by the local microenvironment. 📈 The higher presence of synovial mast cells in RA patients aligns with the severity of the disease. 🔄 RA's synovial microenvironment transforms mast cells into an activated state. 🔍 The activation of mast cells within the RA microenvironment is facilitated by MRGPRX2. 🐭 Introducing mast cells through adoptive transfer accelerates disease progression in collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) mice. 💡 A promising approach involves a combination therapy of cromolyn sodium and anti-IL-17A, showing potential in attenuating CIA. #translationalresearch #autoimmunedisease #rheumatoidarthritis https://lnkd.in/euxfqrSX.
