Congratulations to The Home Depot on its inaugural Southern Division Services Golf Tournament benefiting The Home Depot Foundation - $176,000 raised with partners and vendors! Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership is a proud partner and grantee of the Foundation. For more than a decade, we have partnered with the Foundation to provide quality housing and down payment assistance to veterans!! Sincere thanks to my friend and Soror Alexis Stewart for the invite and fun round!
Less than four days to go!
It’s the last week of February and that means it’s the last week of our 164 Mile Challenge.
Make sure you upload your miles to the leaderboard by midnight on Thursday and please get your sponsorship money in as soon as possible. So far, we've raised just under £9,000 but we know there's more to come. Don't forget, every penny raised is vital to help us support local families with sick children.

Kudos to this incredible young man.
Having become indigent for several years when my ex-husbands wealthy family paid all his legal fees in repeatedly suing and pounding me into poverty, I can honestly speak from experience as a mother of 3 children who suffered in poverty during those years it is absolutely OUTRAGEUS that any child in America is NOT served lunch.
I am extremely lucky I "made it," but my children and I have NEVER forgotten those days. Every time I see a story like this i just shake.
There should be absolutely no social order associated with school lunches anywhere in this country. ALL school lunches in America should be offered at NO CHARGE as part of our school curriculum. I would GLADLY support tax increases to cover the costs of a nationally required program to feed, at no charge, all children in our schools for lunch. And in a balanced program, children can still be make "choices"--green beans or peas, chicken, eat or fish--they choose-- white milk, chocolate milk, what kind of juice, Jello , pudding or graham crackers as a light desert, etc etc etc--so the child fees like he can have some individuality while the school maintains variety would be great. None of us cannot expect a hungry, impoverished child to learn anything while operating on an empty stomach--or while being ridiculed because the child has to present a voucher or the as*hole "cashier" loudly turns the child away for an overdrawn account or lack of funds. In this day and age the fact this has still not been addressed is beyond my comprehension:

Cayden, an 8-year-old, took action when his friend was denied a hot meal at school due to school lunch debt. Cayden, with the support of his mom, initiated a fundraiser called "No Child Goes Hungry" to assist students who were facing meal challenges. Through his efforts, Cayden successfully raised over $40,000, showcasing his inspiring generosity and compassion.

Making time for my walk each day has given me time to reflect. Not only about why we are doing the walk and the benefits of fresh air everyday, but also about the value of team work. We are a remote team but taking part in events such as this brings our team closer ( with just a hint of competitiveness!).
The importance of a common purpose for a team cannot be understated. Why not think about events for your team, to benefit worthwhile causes and employee wellbeing.
I’m looking forward to the next24 days! #teambonding#wellbeing

Hi colleagues, have you ever wanted to see how you can leverage the dreaded school fundraisers as an intentional way to build leadership skills for your kids? I'll share with you what I'm doing with my daughter in this first public event they are doing.
Normally I shy away from these as I don't like peddling for money for kids fundraising. I love supporting others and tend to do that instead of asking for your engagement. I'm realizing that's not a great relationship and need to do better.
So instead, I'm going to use this event to help my daughter learn leadership skills. Through this challenge I'll be focusing on the following:
1) Creating presence and personal brand identity
2) Having a personal vision, mission and values to work towards
3) Enjoying the process, measuring growth, and setting new goals
Would like to learn yourself for you and your kids? Or would you like to just support me in using this to help my daughter?
You can use the ways below to join in, and if you donate the ridiculous amount of $100 or more, I'll schedule a half hour coaching session with you on how you can also do the same thing for yourself as I'm doing for Charlotte.
To just help the cause, even a dollar would do. Here are a few ways you can join:
1) Click on this link and donate straight through the website: https://lnkd.in/gs4s-wwj
2) Save yourself the hassle or registering, and venmo me: @jimhlee I'll be sure to put your name in the support page and any notes you want to share to Charlotte,
3) Just text, DM, or leave a comment below that you're in and to contact you
Thanks again for your support, and as the video says, watch for a follow up that will share all the results.
Have a great day!
