What does the dual mission mean? This means that the preschool must work in two branches at the same time: "a mission of democracy and knowledge". Both in the area of current knowledge and necessary skills for children and in the area of their upbringing and education and prepare them to create a democracy-oriented citizen. The preschool can help with these two branches: The desire to learn, lifelong learning, being a democratic preschool, personal development, community, health and well-being. What does the compensatory assignment mean? This means that the pre-school and the school's mission is to create a suitable educational environment for everyone, regardless of race, skin color, background and different conditions, they must receive the same education and "opportunities to achieve the school's goals". What does it mean that school and preschool should be equal? This means that all children must receive the same education regardless of where they live in the country. This learning from school and preschool to children in the direction of desire to learn based on lifelong learning. This knowledge should give children the right direction towards influence in life in order to develop and achieve their goals. sources Pedagogical work Malin Nyberg
