This is leadership. When was the last time you saw a company simultaneously announce it was closing a location AND retaining/redeploying all of its staff? Usually, such announcements are cold, impersonal, and contain language that was flushed through a corporate jargonator. This is warm, positive, and inspirational - three emotions that are notably absent in so many organizations today. Reducing headcount so you can hit an arbitrary magic number, set by a non-operator in a cubicle miles from your business, and calling it a "growth strategy" isn't leadership. It's advanced Excel manipulation at best. Making a strategic decision to adjust course, keep your amazing talent in-house, then leverage that talent in new and different ways... THAT'S leadership. That's the type of organization I want to see grow and thrive. 321 Coffee is not only leading the way in #neurodiversity at work, they're setting an incredible #leadership example that needs to become the rule, not the exception. Congrats to Lindsay Wrege, Michael Evans, and the entire 321 Coffee team on the launch of the North Carolina State University location! Keep crushing it!
To our 321 Coffee Community, We have loved every moment of our last two years in Durham and growing within this vibrant community. As we look towards the fall, we have made the decision to not renew the lease for our Durham shop at the end of this summer as our team transitions to launch our newest location on NC State’s Centennial Campus. We’re thrilled that you’ll still be able to see our Durham team working at our other shop locations around the Triangle, as well as through events with the 321 Coffee Cart! We are proud to be retaining everyone on our team. With great opportunities ahead of us and great people on our team to achieve them, we’re excited for the future. Thank you Durham ID, Longfellow, and all of our loyal customers and partners for making the Durham location possible, and contributing to the amazing memories and community we created in this space over the last two years. The last day to visit 321 Coffee’s Durham location will be Saturday, August 3. Thank you, Durham, for an incredible journey. Here’s to new beginnings and continued connections! With big love and gratitude, Lindsay, Michael, and the 321 Coffee Team #321Coffee #SpreadLove #InclusionMatters #CoffeeLovers #Inclusion #Positivity

Envisioning a Reimagined Black Wall Street! Black Wall Street's history hails from a standard set of values that served as a baseline for how community members engaged with one another and within broader society. Today, the "Values" are showcased across the different BSWF communities. The Charlotte council envisions a reimagined Black Wall Street in which the following values are centered and uplifted. As we strive to rebuild and reimagine, let's center our vision around our core values. Here's how they can guide us towards a brighter future: Servant Leadership: Embracing authentic communication, we prioritize serving others and fostering inclusive growth. Trust: Building intimacy and collaboration, we create spaces where trust flourishes, driving collective prosperity. Integrity: Through transparency, accountability, and responsibility, we uphold the highest ethical standards, laying the foundation for a resilient community. Community and Collaboration: Grounded in support, love, and neighborly awareness, we unite to uplift each other and foster a thriving ecosystem. Anti-Racism: With an unwavering Anti-Racist mindset, we dismantle systemic barriers and cultivate a culture of equity and justice for all. Together, let's pave the way for a vibrant and empowered Black Wall Street, rooted in these guiding principles. #BWSF #BlackWallStreetForward #ReimaginingBlackWallStreet #CommunityFirst #EquityForAll
