Key Accountabilities:
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, customer preferences, and potential growth opportunities.
Strategy Development: Develop growth strategies aligned with the company's objectives, including market penetration, product expansion, geographic expansion, partnerships, and acquisitions.
Business Planning: Create detailed business plans outlining objectives, strategies, tactics, timelines, and performance metrics to achieve growth targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, product development, finance, and other teams to align growth strategies with overall business goals and ensure seamless execution.
Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor performance against targets, analyzing data to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies as needed.
Opportunity Identification: Continuously scan the market for emerging trends, industry shifts, and new opportunities to capitalize on, keeping the company at the forefront of innovation and growth.
Partnerships and Alliances: Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, alliances, or joint ventures that can accelerate growth and enhance the company's competitive position.
Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments related to growth initiatives, considering factors such as market volatility, regulatory changes, competitive threats, and internal capabilities.
Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present reports, proposals, and updates to senior management, stakeholders, and board members, effectively communicating growth strategies, progress, and challenges.
Technical / Functional Competencies:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform strategic decision-making.
Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Knowledge of software industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies.
