I have posted that post already few months ago, but because of the importance of the topic I guess it is worth to highlight it here again. As the ones of you who are active in the plastics and packaging business might of course know, in the planned PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) in the European Union is planned to set a mandatory recyclate content in plastic packaging. I'm normally not a big fan of too much regulation. But in this case I think it really makes sense. In my perspective such a mandatory recyclate content can significantly support and accelerate the transition to a circular economy for plastics. What is your opinion on that? #packaging #circulareconomy #recycling #plastics

Municipal Affairs at COA - Partnering with municipalities and transit authorities to provide cost-free infrastructure.
They can only be recycled if they make it into the recycling bin. You can help! Is your municipality frustrated with the manpower needed and the high costs of managing the collection and maintenance of your public space recycling bins? Are you struggling to decrease the contamination of recyclables? The good news...... where there's a challenge, there's also an opportunity for innovation. Consider a collaboration between your city or town, your local businesses, and COA. By embracing alternative solutions, cities and towns have overcome budget and manpower constraints while decreasing contamination. A partnership can free up leadership’s time and public funds for other projects. It allows them to focus their attention and resources on other, more pressing areas. COA has been in business for almost 40 years, and we are currently partnering with over 400 municipalities across North America. We provide a hassle-free public recycling partnership that is both cost-free and maintenance-free. Municipalities also benefit from COA’s indemnification and the assumption of risk and responsibility for the installation and maintenance of the recycling bins.
