Africa needs to be like this to grow. It's sad and annoying that we Africans cannot move freely within our continent, but foreigners can. Things like language, currency, culture and borders have been used to divide and hinder us instead of integrating us. Really painful and sad indeed. #AFCFTA? and #AU?, #singlecurrency4africa? and #Africanpassport?. Please allow me to dream ahead for my grandchildren. Perhaps, it will happen in their lifetime. Anyone else dreaming like me? Say something in the comment section please. We are really being limited in all ramifications.

What is the difference between Great Britain, United Kingdom and British Isles? These names often used interchangeably. However, they are not actually synonymous. Great Britain, therefore, is a geographic term referring to the island also known simply as Britain. It’s also a political term for the part of the United Kingdom made up of England, Scotland and Wales (including the outlying islands that they administer, such as the Isle of Wight). United Kingdom, on the other hand, is purely a political term: it’s the independent country that encompasses all of Great Britain and the region now called Northern Ireland. The British Isles are a group of islands off the northwestern coast of Europe. The largest of these islands are Britain and Ireland (Nothern Ireland and Southern Ireland). Smaller ones include the Isle of Wight.

America is a federal constitutional republic comprising of fifty states and a federal district. The country is situated mostly in central North America, where its forty-eight contiguous states and Washington, D. C., the capital district, lie between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, bordered by Canada to the north and Mexico to the south. The state of Alaska is in the northwest of the continent, with Canada to the east and Russia to the west across the Bering Strait. The state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific. The country also possesses several territories in the Caribbean and Pacific.

And so it is in the world around us, in its history..... The annals of geographical discoveries know many interesting facts that influenced the names and destinies of the indigenous people. In this line, the history of the Mariana Islands, the very area where the Mariana Trench is known to everyone, is very interesting. The famous explorer Fernan Magellan discovered these islands during his expedition back in 1521. The journey across the Pacific Ocean was difficult, his crew was very tired by the time they arrived on land, and the locals took advantage of this by taking some items from Magellan's ships. The annoyed discoverer, because of this unpleasant moment, gave the islands the name Las Islas de los Ladrones, which translates as “Islands of Thieves”. For almost 150 years the islands were known by this ringing combination until June 4, 1668, when Spanish Queen Maria Anna of Austria, under whose jurisdiction the territory was then, signed a decree renaming the “Islands of Thieves” to “Las Marianas”. In 1898, after the Spanish-American War, the southern part of the islands passed to the United States, then after World War I they were administered by Japan, and after World War II, the United Nations placed the islands under U.S. administration. In 1978, the Northern Mariana Islands and the island of Guam became considered unincorporated organized territories of the United States. In 1986, all islanders were granted U.S. citizenship status. This is how the descendants of the original inhabitants of the Islands of Thieves, located 11,300 kilometers from the U.S. became citizens of this country.

Again, the Liberal Party grasps for relevance. Canadians know what a failure the Liberal party is. Runaway inflation, housing shortages, food prices are unaffordable. #do_your_job global campaign is a success because Red Cross has no opinion but to diligently do its job. This visit IS a first PUBLIC RECOGNITION that ISRAELI LIVES MATTERS to the entire world, after 67 (!) days of Israeli Hostages (including the readhead baby, his redhead young brother, their parents and 134 additional young women, men and other hostages) are still being kept underground in dark and terror without a verified sign of life (the Red Cross did not take care even of this simple task for Israelis. Did not even diligently tried in the common opinion as far as I can tell). Therefore this visit has an enormous actual impact on strengthening the Israeli narrative in the international arena. It is a huge first success which cannot be downplayed. Indeed, this visit does not cut it and the Red Cross President already knows it as well as Red Cross donors. Plus: It should have occurred in day 1. We all insist that Red Cross start diligently doing its work or Dissolve and Red Cross management and donors are well aware of the fact that this demand is justified and hence the visit which has no precedent since Red Cross establishment. NO PRECEDENT. Red Cross will diligently do its job because there is no other option. We all want it around the world. This campaign is a colossal success showing what untied people around the world can do and it is the first of additional projects which have forever changed the entire world.
