Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL), one of the #Pakistan's largest oil #refineries, has signed pivotal license agreements with Honeywell UOP and Axens, global technology providers for its Refinery Expansion and Upgrade Project (REUP). The project aims to double PRL's #refining capacity from the current 50kbpd to 100kbpd and upgrade the existing configuration from hydroskimming to a deep conversion #refinery, thereby enabling PRL to produce value added products and EURO V-compliant #fuels. PRL has selected state-of-the-art process technologies from these global technology providers. Honeywell UOP has been selected for bottom-of-the-barrel conversion technology and #naphtha processing, including the Residue Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Process, the #LPG Merox process, and a Naphtha complex, featuring a naphtha hydrotreater and a CCR Platforming unit. Axens has been chosen to supply Prime G+, Prime D, and Polynaphtha to achieve EURO V #gasoline and #diesel specifications. Glad to share that I actively participated in the commissioning of the Oil Mist Generating System in the hydrogen generation unit of the Dangote Refinery A brief intro on Oil Mist System The oil mist generating system is an advanced and effective way of lubricating rotary equipments. The main equipment in this system is the Oil mist Generator. The OMG as the name implies generates the oil mist which is then supplied to lubricate different equipments, the OMG is mostly used for more than 2 equipments, could be up 5 or more. The OMG is a LubriMist IVT OMG model. Oil mist is an aerosol of oil. A typical application of oil mist in the hydrocarbon processing industry will reduce oil consumption up to 40 percent over the traditional oil sump method of lubrication. Given the end products (HDPE) downstream, project is likely to be the biggest investment in the region.

PT&P custom designed insulated supports for a cryogenic pipeline at an LNG facility in Australia. They are fabricated with 304L stainless steel plates and Micarta® G-10 insulation. Micarta® is designed to prevent LNG temperatures of -320°F from transferring to the base and surrounding pipe rack steel. The base plates are fabricated from carbon steel. These pipe saddles are designed to support pipes with dimensions ranging from 12"-18" in length, 6"-15" in width and 6"-40" in height. The nominal pipe size range is 8"-24" diameter. MTR’s were provided and non-destructive testing (PMI) was performed, along with standard Q.C. inspection prior to shipment. The current LNG production climate has had significant growth driven by increasing global demand for cleaner energy sources. Major LNG-producing countries, such as the United States, Australia, and Qatar, continue to invest in expanding their liquefaction capacity to meet this rising demand. Advancements in technology and innovation improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of LNG production. We have been a part of these efforts because of our breadth and depth of experience in LNG. Situated 1,185 km from Lima and operated by Petroperu, Talara stands as Peru's second-largest oil refinery by production. Technicas Reunidas took charge of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for the refinery's modernization, aiming to boost #crudeoilprocessing capacity from 65,000 bpd to 95,000 bpd. Amboretto Americas took great pride in serving as a key supplier, delivering approximately one hundred JMS dosing units with diverse configurations. These units, including single and multi-head setups, were designated for a multitude of services ranging from #corrosioninhibition to the injection of #antifoam, #neutralizer, #phosphate, and #chloridingagents. The scope of supply included both JMS T-Tyoe and GM T-Tyoe, meticulously selected to align with the specific requirements of each chemical. This tailored approach ensured an optimal combination of #flowrate and #pressure, ultimately enhancing overall process efficiency. By mitigating damaging reactions, these precision-engineered dosing units extend the lifespan of the equipment.
