Last month, five human sacrifices were linked to the Jamaat al-Qurban eschatological cult in Iraq. “It is important to note that this phenomenon is part of a larger messianic resurgence across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in the past two decades,” writes Sarah Zaaimi:

Throughout history, psychedelics have shaped cultures through religious ceremonies and medicinal purposes. Ancient Egyptians took a unique approach, using the blue lotus flower extract to enhance their sexual desires. Today, as history repeats itself, psychedelics are once again at the forefront of society's medical and sexual awakening. https://lnkd.in/d2v-B29y

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲 Over the past 47 days of active genocide of Palestinians, Congolese and Sudanese, and the countless other atrocities known and unknown around the world today; it is very understandable to feel overwhelmed with thoughts and feelings of anger, frustration, hatred, fear, hopelessness, numbness and more When we see live from our phones and computers unspeakable violence and injustice against individuals and communities we are overcome with empathy, sympathy, sadness, rage and fear We want to do something, but often feel powerless to do anything meaningful from across the other side of the world. We see in front of us the actions of individuals and groups of people that defy basic human decency and understandably we get overwhelmed by thoughts of rage, hate, disgust, outrage, fear and more All this is completely understandable When we get stuck in the belief that the events we are experiencing are causing our feelings and particularly if it isn't pleasant, then we react from our fearful & angry thinking trying to stop those events from hurting us. BUT When we pause, allow ourselves to breathe and find our wisdom centre we are able to pull ourselves out of the whirlpool of stormy feelings and screaming thoughts that consume us with a seemingly endless cycle anger, fear and hate INSTEAD To remain resiliant and constant in our calling for freedom, dignity and justice the key is to speak from our heartful wisdom rather than our hateful thinking. It is very easy to get caught up in the face of outrageous cruelty to be overwhelmed with hatred for the Oppressor/Occupier But when we do we remove ourselves from the opportunity for a fresh insight to arise from our present centred wisdom consciousness When we argue semantics we remove ourselves from the ability to respond intuitively to those in front of us that we can help. I give this reminder to myself first. It's ok to have whatever feelings we are having Just know that our thoughts and feelings pass and reveal the space for wisdom insight to arise and propel us forward. #AWAKENthejoywithin #FreePalestine #FreeCongo #FreeSudan #cronelife

Getting English speakers to thrive in Hebrew 🇮🇱 Best-Selling Author Israeli Educator 🤳 Schedule a call with me 👄 Conversational course 📚 Best-selling reading-writing series
In 2024, antisemitism has evolved into a campaign of spreading lies and distorting narratives, no matter how absurd these fabrications may become. I have seen videos where people claim they visited Israel and witnessed a fantastical reality where no one pays for anything! from housing to daily necessities. Beyond the fact that no such thing exists anywhere, Israel is one of the most expensive places on the globe. Moreover, there's an entire industry known as "Pallywood", where staged scenes of misery and despair are manufactured to paint Israel as a malevolent force. This industry thrives on creating and disseminating deceptive images and videos to manipulate public opinion. A significant part of this modern antisemitism is the vilification of Zionism. Lies are spread about Zionism to make it appear as an evil ideology. However, Zionism is simply the right of the Jewish people to live in their own land. That is it. It is profoundly telling that we even need a term like "Zionism" to describe such a basic right. The absurdity becomes even more apparent when considering that the United Nations established Israel as the homeland for the Jewish people, in coexistence with Arabs and other residents of the region, in 1948. The necessity for a specific term to defend the Jewish people's right to their own homeland underscores the unique and persistent challenges we face. The spread of antisemitism through lies and false narratives not only distorts the truth but also undermines the legitimate and historical connection of the Jewish people to the land previously called Palestine and before that Judea and Samaria. All these acts of blunt hate towards Jewish people in the past year stress is the need for us to have our own country and army... Because clearly, no country seems too eager to protect us. #zion #israel #iloveisrael #israel

Anti-Christian attacks and mobocracy are growing because of the following: 1. Indifferent neighbours who don't want to stand by the affe ted persons. 2. Indifferent state police machinery. They have no interest in protecting citizens’ rights. Their primary aim is to pacify a mob. If the mob wants a case to be filed or arrested or incarcerated in jail. They have no qualms about it. They delay submitting reports and case diary even to the concerned magistrate. 3. The media is interested in peddling the narrative that their political masters want. 4. Christians do not constitute a significant or impressive constituency politically. Hence, swimming against the tide against against the mob due to the complacent attitude of law enforcers, justice delivery system, media and political forces is an uphill task. 5. The mob knows the kill is easy and without accountability. India as a country has a poor record against mob violence. In short, the collective conscience is dying.

A long post, so bear with me: Jews come from and have migrated to many places. Poland, Iraq, Hungary, Lithuania, India, Morocco, Yemen. The United States. Spain and Portugal. Libya, Tunisia and Algeria. Kurdistan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan. Ethiopia, Uganda to name just some. Even small communities in historic Palestine. We were, for centuries and even millennia, a resilient and culturally rich people. Traces of this exist within Israeli society. But Zionism has degraded this beauty. The most self-hating and anti-Semitic ideology is actually Zionism, not anti-Zionism. Zionism has reduced our diversity to a nationalist ideology that simultaneously degraded our Diasporic heritage and tries to create a new Jew that is militaristic, and a reflection of our European oppressors. History tells me that the beauty of Jewish history does not lie in Zionist jingoism, genocide and settler-colonialism. It is in our roots in Diaspora. This is what exists in Israeli society that is beautiful, what pre-dates Israel and has remained within us. Zionism has hijacked our beauty and our legacy. To regain it anew, we must abandon Zionism. We must fight against this genocide to recover what so many of us have lost and to regain a part of our humanity. Free Palestine! 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

Why ONLY genetic Jews can be called Palestinians… Palestinians was the colonizer term ONLY for Jews who lived IN Palestine (a colonizer term for Judea/Israel) from 136 AD - 1948. - The Arabs living there after the 7th century HATED that term as it was so closely associated with Jews. In fact, for most of the Arab presence there, they considered themselves ‘South Syrians’ as Syria was merged administratively with Palestine after 136 AD. Palestine was what? the colonizer term for Judea/Israel for the same 1,812 year time period. When the British occupiers attempted to call Arabs there, Palestinian Arabs, the Arabs revolted. It was ONLY in 1967 that the KBG in an antisemitic hissy fit lumped together 6 different Arab groups plus a group of genetic Jews who in Judea & Samaria who were converted in the 11th century by an Egyptian Caliph to Islam, and created a false ethnicity, ‘the Palestinians.’ Today, only those Arabs who hate Israel call themselves ‘Palestinians’ and the first group in 1967 who started calling themselves ‘Palestinians’ were actually Bedouins who in Israel, Jordan, and the Sinai are mostly genetic Jews.. descendant of Jews who came back home after living in Arabian Peninsula for thousands of years. Why were they the first? bc General Moshe Dayan pissed them off after the Sheikhs admitted most of them are Jews and want to live as Jews in Israel. Dayan dismissed them even after they helped Israel win both in 1948 and 1967. https://lnkd.in/eHYPDBXx The Arab occupiers in Gaza are mostly Egyptians who were settled en masse in 1948 (250,000 thousand and radicalized), joined by some Saudis and some former Israeli Arabs who came to Gaza to help Arab armies kill Jews faster, the ones in Judea & Samaria are mostly resettled Jordanians, who 65% are former Israeli Arabs who fled Israel to Jordan in 1948 to help Arab armies kill Jews faster. The Arabs in Israel come from 25 different Muslim nations. Therefore.. actual Palestinians are Jews, no one else. Political consultant & comms strategist with expertise in Middle East affairs, energy geopolitics, religious nationalism, American authoritarian movements, and psychedelics
Roger Cohen: “In the intervening decades, #Hamas and the ultranationalist religious Israeli right have each extended their influence. The conflict now involves fundamentalist religious ideologies, distinct in critical regards but equally convinced that all the land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River has been deeded to them by God. “A political and military struggle between two national movements for the same land can be resolved by compromise, at least in theory. France and Germany settled their differences in Alsace-Lorraine. Peace came to Ireland. But absolutist claims of divine right to territory appear impossible to reconcile.” Two reasons why the #conflictresolution potential of #psychedelics should be seriously considered and funded for scientific research, as I’ve written for a few publications over the last few years: (1) #Trauma can reinforce the extreme polarities of religious fundamentalism and the perception of one’s enemies as irreconcilably evil, which can lead to highly destructive self-fulfilling prophecies. (2) Psychedelics combined with therapy or spiritual ceremony can be instrumental to the treatment and healing of trauma and can also enable us to experience mystical states of consciousness that are transcendent of fundamentalist religious divisions. #Israel #religion #Judaism #Christianity #Islam #Evangelicals #Zionism #peacebuilding
