I was delighted to take part last week in Accenture Ireland’s third GenAI leadership session which unpacked the practical considerations to mobilise and drive value from Generative AI at scale. Over this client leadership series, we have delved into how GenAI is set to completely disrupt and redefine our lives. Hosted by Denis Hannigan, the session this week was all about the practical considerations of scaling GenAI. The learnings from the work we are doing with our clients made for a fantastic discussion. There were many takeaways for me: ·    The value case for GenAI will be built on large number of incremental improvements. ·    GenAI at scale requires collaboration across all functional areas – bring stakeholders with you from the get-go, the voices of Legal, Risk, Marketing & Brand are crucial. ·    The realisation that getting a capability 'live' is only the starting point; expect to be continuously improving. ·    The deployment of GenAI is driving demand for new skills. There is a huge opportunity to cultivate these within your teams. Start re-skilling now and build trust along the way.   Looking forward to the follow-on activity in our GenAI Lab in The Dock in the weeks ahead - as Fer Lucini commented, the journey is only starting ...
