Here goes: (Just some conclusions after spending a month learning) You can't fundraise properly without a platform. You can't use a platform unless it has a high donor conversion rate. You can't learn how to use a platform without assistance from a campaign manager. You can't rely on a campaign manager without having 24/6 tech support as a backup. You can't ask someone to be an ambassador, it needs to come from them. You can't pull this off unless you have a coach to hold your hand. You can't let donors leave your page, you need a donor rescue tool. You can't rely on spreadsheets, you need all the data to be under one window. You can't run a peer-to-peer campaign in a day, you need 6-8 weeks. But... You CAN run a successful peer-to-peer fundraising campaign when you have the entire HUG of service and technology to do so. Success means raising the highest amount possible and increasing your donor base by a lot (a lot a lot). #fundraising #nonprofit
