My four-years journey in HR has been a whirlwind, and I'm bursting with pride as I look back.
I remember two years into the job “I wan run” senior colleagues/experienced hands left the department, it was a new phase of adjustment, new colleagues, new workflow. Team building was one of my major focus , ensuring every member of the team has a voice which boosted idea generation , proven personal development and seamless workflow and eliminated micromanaging ,putting in my leadership skills on the go.
Sure, it was challenging, having to attend to numerous request and tasks at the same time, putting in extra hours at home to meet up deadlines but glad I embraced the challenge and bagged years of experience into months earning me the recognition for my adaptability skills and performance .
A huge shout-out to everyone who at one point in time guided, supported, mentored me and ensured I was always on the right track their support was my rocket fuel!
Now, let's dive into the impact I have made:
Firstly, I wasn't just organizing and scheduling training for employees, I increased employees’ competencies and performance at work. I carry out organizational manpower requirement assessment that aided our attraction of talents and seamless onboarding and offboarding process.
I'm a corporate cartographer mapping the organizational landscape.
I wasn't just crunching numbers; I was ensuring employee satisfaction. Payroll, benefits, statutory compliance ,I kept things running smoothly so employees could focus on what they do best.
Change can be scary, but I was the calming voice in the storm. I managed information transformations like a pro, minimizing risk and keeping everyone informed.
For me , performance management was not just to evaluate, it’s about ignition of potentials, ensuring it is relevant and measurable to boost engagement. Crafting robust employee engagement programs is always on my to do list ,I can comfortably say I make work more fun 😊 .
I'm not just an HR pro, my journey to data ehn, I now feel like a data detective 🤣😂.I leverage data analytics tools to solve complex problems and provide data driven solutions that helps organizations make best decisions. There's nothing I feel cannot be automated😂🤣
But wait, there's more! I'm not just about processes, I'm about people. Being the "Safety Person of the Month" three times last year shows I care about more than just getting things done. I'm a champion for employee well-being, ensuring everyone works safely and happily. Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 48001:2018.
And the best part? I'm not just doing the work, I'm making a difference. Employees saying I changed their perception of HR? That's the ultimate validation.
So, here's to me, the HR rockstar! I'll keep shining, keep innovating, and keep making that work environment amazing ✨
