10.000+ and it starts to get interesting, becoming valid. There are few things as frustrating as data references built or based upon too little data points. These limited data are prolific across world of wider workforce or talent acquisition analysis, yet passed off as providing evidence for a claim, opinion or worst of all facts. Danger in this lie in fact that it builds an understanding which simply not holding true, giving a false positive or worse a direct untruth. Evidence of this can be witnessed every single day. It is therefore with the greatest joy and excitement when research comes along built on substantial data and Qualtrics deserve nothing but applause for the serious amount of work they have done in their annual employee experience trends report. through -collection of data from 37.000 respondents. -being from 32 countries and 28 industries -being from companies employing 100 to 50.000 people -having a representation from 50% males, 49% females and 1% non binary/transgender/third gender In short a TRULY thorough and representative survey, - a rarity. Helping to build individual and organisational capability for a sustainable and inclusive future of work
Excellent article for those of you who want to co-design more #inclusive workplaces with great insights from Roman Ružbacký about how qualitative and quantitative data can inform this process. Dr Vish Ramakonar, Dr Azadeh Shafaei, Uma Jogulu, some valuable guidance for our students studying D&I and People Analytics in this article: https://lnkd.in/gKSgpDQw. It's clear from this article that the DEI agenda in our organisations must be better informed by skillful use of data, including that which helps us understand the compounded inequity faced by some individuals at the intersections of multiple identities. DEI data literacy can clearly be of great assistance in really understanding the stories and lived experiences of the workforce. #inclusionequitydiversity #dataliteracy #co-design

Deloitte recently published a “2024 Gen Z and Millennial Survey.” Here’s how the workforce is changing: ✅ 85%+ say that purpose-driven work is crucial for job satisfaction and up to 50% have rejected job offers or assignments that were misaligned with their values. 👆Thus, employers can’t attract talent by simply offering a decent salary. It is important to also ensure the value-driven work of the company and learn more about the team’s interests and values. ✅ 62% feel anxious about climate change, 73%+ take action against climate change, around half pressure their employers to take action as well, and many change jobs based on company's environmental policies (see image). 👆 Climate-conscious companies used to be an exception. Now, it’s a norm. Starting a business? Think of ways to make it green from day 0. ✅ ~60% of responders believe that GenAI-driven automation will eliminate jobs. Interestingly, the number is higher among those who frequently use GenAI tools. Simultaneously, half of the respondents believe that employers are NOT providing enough training on GenAI. 👆The ethical use of GenAI is a growing concern whereas employers are not putting enough effort to educate workers on those topics. Thus, there’s definitely a market gap to be filled! Photo: Deloitte

📣 In the ever-evolving digital landscape, PwC's Global Workforce Hopes and Fears Survey 2023 offers some insightful ideas. The survey, which garnered responses from 54k workers across 46 countries, reveals a workforce eager to learn new skills and embrace AI, even as they face the challenges of financial hardships and a rapidly changing job market. A notable 26% of respondents plan to quit their jobs in the next 12 months, up from 19% last year, indicating a restless workforce (where does this come from?). The report also highlights four key actions for CEOs to better understand their employees' needs and aspirations: Engage and inspire your people, make your culture a catalyst for change, understand the cost-of-living crisis, and nurture employee interest in AI. Interestingly, despite the fear of AI-induced job losses, 31% of respondents believe AI will increase their productivity and efficiency at work. As we navigate this digital transformation, it's crucial to foster a culture of learning and innovation, ensuring we are ready for the future. 💼🚀 #WorkforceTrends #DigitalTransformation #AI
