Further m+p international test support in characterising the SRS rig at Surrey Space Centre in readiness for a satellite payload test. For those not familiar with SRS (Shock Response Spectrum), this is used to simulate high level shock events experienced by satellite payloads during its journey to space I.e. rocket stage separation with explosive bolts. It looks pretty crude, but it’s a very effective method for achieving far higher g levels than can be achieved on a shaker. #spacetesting #vibrationtesting #satellitetesting #expertsinvibration #shockresponsespectrum
