Absolutely thrilled to share my journey over the past 4 months! The burning question I often get asked is, "How's it going?" But let's decode that - it really means, "Are you loving your job, and are you making a meaningful impact?" Here's the scoop: I've found my place. Our leadership team not only preaches about team culture but lives it through actions. From fostering a caring environment to ensuring open communication, building relationships, and upskilling our team, it's a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere. When I joined during the peak of event season, I threw myself in the pulse of our team and customers. From team member and appreciation picnics to harvest meals, I listened attentively, understanding the needs of both sides. Our journey involved a deep dive into our identity and customer base. Riding along on deliveries, attending sales training, and delving into budget reviews allowed me to grasp our customer language and align it with our self-perception. Through technical work like building Customer Personas and crafting a strategy, we found our niche: the multi-generation farm operation. From Grandpa's wisdom to the kids shaping the future, our customers share common goals of improvement, sustainability, and paving the way for the next generation. Now, we're in the exciting tactics phase. Using insights from customer interactions, we're strategically selecting channels and creating content to empower them in reaching their goals. In the Coop world, our success is intricately tied to our customers' success. Thrilled to be part of this journey, and looking forward to what lies ahead!
