Honestly, for anyone engaged in financial co-operatives (credit unions and the organizations that support them), this program is a fabulous network and knowledge building week. The post below highlights bursaries for younger leaders, but the program is for all ages and stages in one's career. This is the type of immersion experience like few others that I've experienced. One week in Halifax could turn into much more...... building relationships with others across the country and around the world; opening up opportunities for international experiences and an international designation (if you so choose). And, of course, it will make you a better, smarter leader.

For those of us who do not know how to change a tire, a simple, did you call for help? Do you need me to help you call for help?, will suffice. If you have somewhere to be where you cannot afford to be late, as people are not always understanding, whatsoever, please, your livelihood is just as important and valuable and continuing on your journey so as to be able to pay your bills. Not every post is to be taken literally. Just a reminder not to be so hard on yourselves when you can’t afford to stop and help. There are plenty of ways to show leadership in your life, like teaching someone how to change their tires, this someone is me, teach me ahah.
