In our workshops, we teach that repetition is the mother of mastery. No one exemplifies this more than Katie Ledecky. Her dominance in swimming isn't just about raw talent; it's about countless hours of repetition. Stroke after stroke, lap after lap, year after year. According to The New York Times, it's estimated that Ledecky swims about 37 miles a week. "That adds up to 1,900 miles a year, and it means eons of staring at the black line that runs along the bottom of a pool." The result? Ledecky now has won 14 Olympic medals, nine of them gold, beating her own record for the most medals won by an American woman in Olympic history. She has 23 of the top 25 times in the 800-meter freestyle and 24 of the top 25 times in the 1,500.
