https://lnkd.in/d5C3NFYh I remember well when people argued that these new innovations were nonsense, expensive, not as good as the thing it will replace, and will take away from the driving experience. Yet, today, those same people won't buy a vehicle without them. In a seemingly never-ending circle, today we deride new innovations that are yet to become mainstream. EVs, self-driving cars, etc. What drives this culture of nay-saying to any new technology? Are we forever locked into the behavior?

Innovations aimed at enhancing charging speed and extending vehicle range could address two of the most pressing concerns for consumers and manufacturers alike. The research conducted by institutions like Harvard is pivotal, suggesting we may soon see practical solutions to issues that have historically hindered EV adoption. Faster charging times and longer ranges promise not only to improve user convenience but also to accelerate the shift towards sustainable transportation options. I think we have a bright sustainable future in front of us. #electricalvehicle #electrification #ev #charginginfrastructure #telematics #fleetmanagement #fleetoperations #charging

This is an interesting development. However, I firmly believe that the lithium based EV technology itself will not sustain in transportation beyond 30 - 40 years. Transportation future is only with #Greenhydrogen.

The development on electrified mobility will get boosts in the future with new technologies kicking in. It is mentioned from various sources, that the evolution on batteries might be similar to the chip-evolution of the past where capacities doubled while development times halved per cycle. Here is one example provided by #worldeconomicforum. If that is going to happen, investments in #emobility and #charginginfrastructure plus changing #intralogistics processes accordingly will accelerate as well. That needs #stability and #committment from lenders who take this seriously and build structures and teams that are able to keep the same pace and form solutions for higher front loaded costs due to these investments. At DLL we have the ambition to strive for a more sustainable future by providing our customers and partners the right tools on their way to reduce emissions.
