Meet Ratul, our student from TLE Eliminators 6.0 batch, who bagged an internship + FTE offer at MediaNet. Ratul was already an Expert when he joined TLE Eliminators. He mentioned how he decided to target companies like MediaNet, Sprinklr, Codenation after realising that the hiring process of a lot of other companies was really random. He was good in competitive programming and he joined TLE Level 4 to double down on his strengths by learning advanced topics like Re-rooting DP, Fenwick Trees, Sparse Tables, etc. Ratul was one of the most hard working students, spending 4-5 hours every single day to solve problems outside his comfort zone. He was literally solving 1800-2000 rated problems despite being rated 1600. As we are launching the 9th batch of TLE tomorrow, I would highly recommend people who are looking to join TLE to give this podcast a watch as Ratul has also talked about how he got the most out of the 3 months batch. We hacked our boss’s LinkedIn — don’t tell Wells 🤫 As our time interning at July comes to a close, we wanted to let the world know what it’s really like interning for a creator economy start-up. Here’s what Wells will never tell you about working at July: - Photoshopping your boss’ face onto a Game of Thrones poster is a real assignment. - July Book Club was not as fun as it sounded (no one read the book on time, ever). - Sometimes it’s up to the interns to “cater” BTI creator economy events. P.S. Now that we’re going to be jobless in less than a month, we’re taking requests for custom charcuterie spreads. - You’re going to have to hear Wells constantly talk about following up with people, sometimes over 20 times. After all, your follow-up game determines your success. - You will constantly be listening to "interesting" house music — shoutout Playground. - You may be pitted against your fellow intern in a Figma battle to the death (winner gets a free lunch!) — shoutout Daniel Magill. - You must do everything in your power to make your ~25-year-old team feel young and hip. Shoutout to our (grand)mother figure Margot Beard — you’re looking rather youthful today. - You’ll get the best sweet treat recommendations in SoHo from Ikshita Puri. - You’ll get asked countless hypothetical questions and share your love for Chappell Roan with Brett Kolodny. - You’ll hear some wild lunch time stories and stay up-to-date on the latest Love Island drama from Emma Botti. Who would’ve thought that we’d be carrying the humor in the office... We know they'll miss us dearly and we'll be impossible to replace, but all good things must come to an end. Wo waqt bhi kya waqt tha..... Yaarr, Internship Blues! Remember that feeling when you find a place so awesome, leaving feels impossible? That was me at Decimal Technologies last summer! My first internship ever, and totally unpaid, but the people I met were pure gold. Ananya Singh, Raghav Sharma, Vandit Sharma, and my amazing manager Ankita Lakra - they're the real gems. We worked on a super cool project - building a marketing campaign for their no-code/low-code platform. It was all about understanding what companies needed and then showing them how Decimal Technologies could be their superhero! From surveys to killer profiling decks (basically, figuring out each company's unique problems), we dug deep to make the campaign resonate. It wasn't just work, though. Coffee breaks with Ananya Singh and Vandit Sharma, lunch table gossip sessions, grammar talks and those epic Zumba sessions - we had a blast! Even Mr. Lalit Mehta, the founder, was incredibly supportive. And Yogesh sir - so much learned from both of them! Last day? Total meltdown. I didn't want to leave! Raghav Sharma, ever the wise one, gave me a pep talk: "This might not always happen, but cherish the experience and move on with a happy heart." ❤️ Definitely missing those moments, but so grateful for the experience and the amazing people I met at Decimal Technologies, you left a big mark!
