Looking behind of us, it was again a challenging year, let’s say it was the first full year after pandemic years. May be it was just – that challenging - because of the first full year after pandemic….   We learned how the world changed… We learned that live changed for a lot of people and expectations are nowadays different... We learned that it seems, that the extraordinary staff situation, seems to be a never ending story And so much more…   To see it again positive, we all learned again a lot, that no one can take away from us.   We are prepared – for 2024 – to meet all new upcoming challenges as we are one team!   Once again I would like to thank my teams and all Head Office Members/ RO Members for this extreme effort, for the perseverance and the extraordinary flexibility, but also for the commitment towards the Louvre Hotels Group.   A big thank you to all of you, for the cooperation, help, understanding and taking everyday a new challenge in 2023 and the achievement of common goals and the optimistic view Emotions we had – sometimes stormy, sometimes calm – but at the end we jumped in one boat to reach together our goals.   I look positively into 2024 and my wish for this Christmas and the New Year is, that we are open for changes, that we see in a first moment bad news, a challenge to take, trying to cut bad habbits (whatever bad is 😊) and being curious and confidently to 2024. And that my teams and me, will find new teammembers and old teams stay like they are. But not to forget the most important value we have – stay healthy.   I look forward to 366 days of challenges and together we will face and tackle them. And we have one more day next year to meet our expectations – that is good 😊   To you and your families, I wish calm and lovely Christmas days and time to set new goals, but also to think about the past and your beloved once....It is important to stay together and keep people in your hearts you may lost!   Let’s work together to have peace on earth, everybody can start in his own life with this project!!!!     A TEAM IS NOT A GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO WORK TOGETHER. Earlier this month marked my 2-year anniversary at TravelPerk 🎉, and what an incredible journey it has been! In this short time, we've achieved so much, and I couldn't be happier or more excited about what's to come in the next 2 years 🚀 Amongst 100s of key learnings, one stands out the most ⛔ Company culture can’t be implemented ⛔ There isn’t an API integration for it, nor is there a magic ping pong table to cultivate it. A pizza party won’t create it, and a diamond/president club won’t foster it. Company culture is simply people. If you can’t see that, you’re looking in the wrong place. TravelPerk never 'implemented' its culture; there wasn’t an on/off switch or a culture go-live party. Instead, TravelPerk understood early on that their culture was already present within certain people, in the form of values 🗣️. Our mission was to find and hire these individuals and then create an environment where those values could shine and flourish. 🌟 Our values aren’t just a set of slogans we put on mugs, shout about in all-hands meetings, or print on T-shirts. They manifest in the everyday actions of every single employee at TravelPerk and drive every decision we make. Company culture can’t be implemented because it is the sum of organic, value-driven actions 🤝 Although these organic value-driven actions are everywhere in TravelPerk i'd like to especially highlight and shoutout the amazing South and Central European team! representing Iberia, France, Benelux, & the Nordics.
