October was a month of milestones, new product releases and even more industry recognition for Zilch. Thanks to everyone who has been part of it… Swipe below for the highlights 💚 🏆 From 1,500 companies that applied, Zilch was named in Bloomberg’s Top 25 UK Companies to Watch in 2023 alongside other mission purpose companies like Monzo Bank, Elvie Oxa and Quantexa. 🎤💡Our CEO and co-founder Philip Belamant spoke on the main stage at one of UK’s biggest annual retail conferences, PI LIVE Show, alongside Adam Ross, CEO of Awin Global. The two CEOs discussed the future of Zilch, advertising and how to safeguard consumers and help them lower their bills. 🙌🏼 Welcomed new brands like Jet2.com and Jet2holidays and The Perfume Shop to our ad-subsidised retailer network #ASPN, helping our millions of customers access credit completely fee free. 🎉 Last, but by no means least; we announced Zilch Up - a revolutionary new regulated payment product that, in just 3 months, helped 25,000 customers go from invisible to visible with the UK leading credit reference agencies. Yesterday was an incredible way to see out 2023 events with some of Adyen most awesome Partners at the St Princes Golf course down in Sandwich. It was so good seeing so many good friends, making news ones and bringing the Payments / Fin Tech eco system together over laughs and 18 holes, even the sun showed up. There is nothing more powerful for me then the power of Partnerships, it’s how all of our businesses grow. A huge thanks from all of in in attendance yesterday to the legend that is Ben Rainbow for putting together a fantastic event. Of course it’s even better when you hit form, Big drives, ( only 2 fairways missed ) draining putts and recording a net 69 ( -3 ) with 39 points to finish second. Those who know me know that I have a long dislike of printed receipts. 🤬Bad for the environment, wallet filling ugly things that just take up space in draws and wallets the world over. 💩 Yes, we now have more and more digital receipt options, but they are disconnected and mainly there for lead gen, and not convenience. Remember Flux? Oh how I miss you, they sadly learnt the hard way how difficult it is to make this level of change happen. 😥 So, imagine how pleased I was to see Lidl GB roll out (pun intended) some new eco receipts this weekend. That said, 90% of people take these receipts 10 feet to redeem their free parking and throw them in the bin. Plus, I have a digital copy in my Lidl app, but you can't use them for parking. 🤷♂️ So, whilst it is progress, we still have a major receipt waste problem. P.s.
