I've mentioned to my leadership classes that they are recruiters (outside base) and retainers (inside base and within their commands)... now the US Navy has officially released NAVADMIN 274/23 P4 for a War for Talent. "Every command in the Navy is charged with finding, coaching, and mentoring at least one quality recruit candidate this FY, and each command will shepherd their recruit through the process." So literally, every Sailor is a recruiter. The CNO stated that this is now "Commander's Business," meaning COs are charged with tracking and encouraging recruiting. What kind of recruiter will you be? What kind of Navy do you want your new Sailors joining? How are you making that Navy a reality today?
Navy Recruiter | Empowering 🇺🇸 Veterans through part-time Navy Reserve service | Military Transitioning Assistant | ANSO Public Affairs Officer
Every Sailor is a recruiter for the Navy, and helping bring in the talent our team needs will also help you advance. 🇺🇸 Your stories and experiences hold weight and influence within your circle and could be the reason someone chooses military service. If you meet or know someone you believe is a good fit for our Navy, 📲 text FLOC to 764764. Doing so will link you to a survey page where you can provide their name and contact information which will allow a recruiter to engage with them. If that person signs a contract, you will earn a flag letter of commendation, worth a point toward advancement. #NavyRecruiter Navy Recruiting Command ** Help the US Navy spread the word by sharing this post.
