The plastic waste issue cannot be resolved solely downstream. To address this problem effectively, we need to focus on reducing waste generation from the beginning. By both preventing waste at its source and implementing downstream solutions, we can make the most significant impact. Another social venture by Evergreen Labs called Glassia Water is an innovative upstream initiative aimed at addressing waste at its origin and eradicating single-use plastic in the bottled water sector. This refill-centered, vertically integrated social enterprise is gaining traction in Vietnam, and witnessing our impact grow this past year has been so exciting! Refill is the future, and our efforts are focused on demonstrating that circular supply chains can be successful on a large scale. I am more than happy to report from our successfully ongoing #Composting Field Trials with #gorecover GORE® Cover supported by UTV AG at the Umweltpartner Vogel AG Composting site. GORE® Cover built with new innovative laminate types had been compared inter alia with regards to their emission control performance by the TÜV NORD GROUP Umweltschutz GmbH & Co. KG last week. The results show an exiting performance with the prove that GORE® Cover Systems (Composting with semipermeable Membrane Covers acc. to the #BREF for the #Wasteindustry) are at a minimum equal or even better than standard end – of – pipe means to provide #emissionscontrol performance during aerobic #wastetreatment meeting or exceeding actual standards.
