I am proud to share that this morning, the Coalition for Health AI (CHAI) released our draft consensus framework for responsible #healthAI. The draft Assurance Standards Guide was developed through the collaboration of more than 100 individual contributors representing a diverse group of stakeholders from across the healthcare ecosystem. The corresponding Assurance Reporting Checklists translate the Guide into actionable evaluation criteria. CHAI is an open community committed to convening and dialogue that drives consensus about how we can help ensure healthcare AI is effective and trusted. The draft framework released today is open to public review and comment, and I encourage everyone to participate and be heard. The public comment period will run for 60 days. There are no limits to who can join and participate. We will continue to proactively engage stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem in particular patient advocates, under-resourced local health systems and start-ups for additional feedback. On behalf of the board, I want to thank those who volunteered and contributed their valuable perspectives and expertise. We look forward to engaging with you and improving this work.
Brian Anderson, MD congratulations and thank you! I'm so glad I had a chance to hear you speak at the HealthImpact event a couple weeks ago. Excited to dig into this framework, and will share it with a few people in the field.

2wThank you Brian! Where can we learn more about who has financial influence or gain on CHAI? And what board composition is relative to the board members’ fiduciary responsibilities are to public companies / venture capital-backed companies?
