What does the word grace mean to you in EMS education? Over the past few years this word has weighed heavily on me. Showing grace does not mean we take away their accountability and not hold them accountable. It means we understand not everyone is in the same boat. Each student faces their own battle. Instead of writing off that student you think is not going to make it think about their situation. What’s their home life like? Have they run several bad calls in a row? The possibilities are endless. My point is this. Showing grace can not just have a positive affect on the students class experience. It will be something they will be thankful for and remember years down the road. #emseducation #emstutoring
