As many of you will know Service Management* has been my first love for many, many years. That's been both inside and outside my day job. For the last 2 years I've been engaged at the front line. A short but massively productive spell with Visionable Global (Thanks to Rachel D ; plus Matt and Tom were stars) has been followed by 15 months knee deep in the SIAM project at Sellafield with some truly wonderful people. But...there always is a but...an opportunity came along to get back to the service management / best practices front line with the ever growing capability at CGI. So next Monday (21/3) that's me off to join Frieda Morton-Evans and the crew ready to take on the world again. The chance to get back into helping out at itSMF UK is an added bonus. As I inevitably will, I'm oddly looking forward to getting on the train to London from Manchester Piccadilly again after a break of two years. #thenextchapter now where is my oyster card :-) * other complementary approaches are available and often successfully integrated as intended
