Creating simple/seamless Executive & Board recruitment campaigns across the Social Housing sector

Answer the effing question!!!!! We're being bombarded at the minute by party political broadcasts and interviews with politicians so my blood pressure is rising exponentially. I'll apologise now for any outbursts on here over the next couple of months. My question today is why do politicians INSIST on not answering a simple question?? Instead they focus on slating the other parties and then give some vague soundbite which means f-all to anyone. And we lap it up for some reason. If I was pitching for a Chief Executive role and the selection committee asked me a simple question like, "How would you ensure we get a diverse shortlist for consideration"?, and I responded by telling them the lack of diverse outcomes from other consultancies, rather than the numerous measures we build in to our process to assure a positive outcome, I'd be told politely (or not) to jog on!! So please, for once...just ANSWER THE EFFING QUESTION!!!!!

Why does England keep voting for career politicians ? These shysters know they can be evasive all day long whilst feeding you soundbites. If voting changed the current rigged game it would be outlawed. The UK is a sham democracy. It is a banana Republic. It has the most politically illiterate electorate on the planet bar none. They are laughing at the voters. Not surprising really.

If I hear any more "sack cloth" speech "pre-non answering" of the question I will go mad. I think they do it to waste time and give themselves some thinking time to make up the appropriate "bullshit" that they hope will give the answer they think is needed.

Exactly this! I have never understood why most parties the world over run their campaigns by pointing out the flaws in the other party. Yes, we aaaaall know what you're all bad at, but tell us what you're good at - if anything! And then they wonder why people don't want to vote. To steal an analogy from a dating site, it's like going into a charity shop and trying to find the least worn, least stinky item to buy! 🙄

It's because you wouldn't like the answer.

Love this, Thank you for standing up and saying what we all feel. This is why there is such a lack of interest and trust in UK politics.

There’s some humour going around on WhatsApp. It’s a photo of a blackboard on which is chalked up: “Electyle dysfunction. Failure to be aroused by any of the political parties.” It says it all for many.

Thats modern day politicians for you, they will slag the opposition, rather than portray their own policies, it has all become too negative.
