6moGreat article, Vaughn Stoll. I think the biggest take away is the focus seems to be on more qualitative characteristics for both buyers and sellers these days than in the past. While money and stock are important considerations, the buyer must meet the sellers where they are financially and culturally. Since I've known you for over a decade, it's become crystal clear that you and your team have met owners where they are, value their input, and look at the full picture when you add practices to the Brown & Brown family. Job well done, full stop. My experience was in acquisitions, while in a different industry, allowed me to be right in the middle of hundreds of transactions, and I would say that you are the most authentic and trustworthy acquirer and partner I've ever met in person.
