Legal Counsel LG CNSL 2 - $146,164.26 – $189,555.72 annually LG CNSL 3 - $195,190.49 - $224,147.27 annually The Ministry of Attorney General (AG) is responsible for ensuring that the administration of public affairs is carried out in accordance with the law. The Legal Services Branch (LSB) supports the AG in fulfilling this mandate by representing, and serving as legal advisor to, the provincial government in civil law matters. The primary responsibility of counsel in this position will be to represent and advise LSB clients in response to human rights complaints filed with the BC Human Rights Tribunal (HRT). In addition, counsel in this position from time to time may represent and advise LSB clients in response to employment related civil claims, petitions for judicial review of HRT decisions, and labour grievances filed under collective agreements.
