How do you overcome impostor syndrome and owning the successes that come your way? Question for all three of you.

Super helpful and energizing to listen to the three of you at the same time!

If you look at the NABIP Board of Trustees and Executive Committee it is a testament to how our industry HAS changed. When I started in the industry, leaders did not look like me. And were not representative of our population. No more of the one woman in the room situation. It is time now for us to leverage the diversity of our industry to make us better!

It's powerful to hear your stories.

My story as well! Found my current partner later in life and it made ALL the difference for me. Learning to be part of a team was both amazing and scary at the same time. If your partner makes you a better person, you are then responsible for living up to that! Which is the best foundation to start from.

It's not a brag when you are a BRAND. Promoting a brand is just smart business. Hiring someone in PR, even a freelancer to put out a couple of pieces for you, not some big contract, is the least you can do for your brand.

Chelsea, thanks for highlighting culture. I've walked into meeting rooms as the only woman, hispanic and minority, and I've seen first hand how "culturally" disconnected some advisors are from our communities which puts certain clients at a disadvantage.

This has been a fantastic discussion. You three are really amazing and I love that you all joined the industry at a different time and had different, but similar experiences. Lots of take-a-ways for me. Thank you for sharing...
