AE @ Gong | Helping SDRs promote to AE through proven outbound systems, personal branding, and ethical selling practices | SDR to AE in 10 months
One of the first things I tell new SDRs: Master your tech stack ASAP. It's the most straightforward way to condense your ramp. Being able to manipulate your tools at will is a massive advantage. And it's totally within your control. All it takes is work and commitment. Your company should provide some intro training, But I'd recommend doing a search online to find tutorials that dive deeper into each individual tool. Follow along and do all the exercises. You'll learn fastest by actually putting what you learn into practice. If you want to put yourself ahead of all the other ramping SDRs in your cohort, This is your ticket.

Conway’s Law, DevOps, and Your Source Code - cat /dev/brain In many software development teams practicing DevOps, the application code, automated tests, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) are often stored in separate repositories. However, this separation can lead to a dysfunctional organization and architecture. The article argues that IaC is just like any other code, and it's essential to keep all the artifacts, including Docker files, Helm charts, CloudFormation or CDK, Terraform, shell scripts, CI/CD definitions, SQL scripts, etc., in one repository. This includes writing automated tests, both unit and system/integration tests. The article highlights several reasons for keeping IaC alongside application code: It's easier to reason about a service when all the code lives in one repo. Versioning is much simpler when all the artifacts live in one repository. The line between 'application' or 'service' code and IaC is increasingly becoming blurred. The article concludes that keeping Conway's Law top of mind when making architectural decisions, planning source code repository layouts, and making organizational changes is key to setting up your organization for success. Ignoring or fighting against Conway's Law will result in a dysfunctional organization and architecture. https://ift.tt/2MUfsCG #news #cto #tech
