The Charity Commission for England and Wales has released an updated version of CC14, its guidance note on investments for charities & my colleague at the Charities Aid Foundation, Mark Morford has pulled together a really interesting review. Mark's review covers a number of areas including that trustees can make investments in the best interests of their charity both financial and with regard to purpose; how trustees should balance whether to take advice and the importance of keeping your approach under regular review. If your charity, or those you work with, has investments; then I thoroughly recommend 10 minutes with Mark's words ( https://lnkd.in/eXeCaPhf) ) and the new CC14 (https://lnkd.in/efy54Xbh)
