I had the opportunity to attend LTL Playbook Live last week with several industry-leading firms. Much respect to Curtis Garrett and his brand, Understand LTL, for creating such a unique, refreshing, and collaborative event.
A few key takeaways that resonated with me:
*Create the internal processes and programs on the backend to help your employees deliver meaningful customer experiences.
*Accurate data sharing and appropriate incentives will help expedite the change we all want to see in LTL pricing.
*Your brand is everywhere. Keep it authentic and impactful. Find your niche and become the standard.
*No Carrier/3pl relationship is the same, but we can all seek for total alignment by sharing assumptions, intent, and getting our respective departments working closely with one another (ie Pricing teams).
*We can reduce the bottlenecks and friction caused by routine repetitive processes by automating the information sharing process. Think long-term success vs short-term gains.
Our various ecosystems are connected more so than ever, and no party is isolated to the rapid changes that are shaping our industry. We need more thought-provoking conversations and collaboration across all entities to bridge the gaps and adapt.
Well done, Curtis! 💪 🚛
