📢 5 YEARS OF BETA BUGS IN SCOTLAND 📢 🕛It’s been 5 years since we moved Beta Bugs lock, stock and barrel to the Easter Bush Campus in Midlothian, Scotland after participating in the Royal Society of Edinburgh’s Unlocking Ambition Scheme. 🤝We made the decision to move the business up because Scotland was simply the best place to build Beta Bugs – the Easter Bush campus is home to The Roslin Institute, a recognised world leader and powerhouse in animal genetics, whilst Scotland itself is home to a thriving agricultural and aquaculture sector, plus a strong start-up ecosystem that is understanding and supportive of the needs of agri-tech innovators such as ourselves. In particular, the efforts of Scottish Enterprise, UK Agri-Tech Centre, the Roslin Innovation Centre and the Scottish investment ecosystem have all made us feel welcome and proud to call Scotland our home. ✔️These past 5 years have been very dense: In the summer of 2019 we came to Scotland as a team of 3 and a 20 foot shipping container that housed our Black Soldier Fly Colony (which the CEO & Founder had painted up with his parents). Though we were small, we had big ideas and plans for our sector – the delivery and supply of high-performance genetics. 🙌We are now a team of 18 working across 2 sites based in Midlothian and have been steadily executing those same ideas and plans - because our focus and commitment to genetics has never changed. 👏To do this we have built our team, raised investment and secured support from InnovateUK and Scottish Enterprise, pioneered Black Soldier Fly selective breeding and quantitative genetics, deployed the UK’s first Black Soldier Fly egg production facility and accelerated the development of the entire insect farming industry through the supply of our products and Beta Buzz, our industry publication for insect farmers. Whilst doing this we have also surfed through coronavirus waves, progressed through economic recessions and danced to the rock and roll that comes with growing an SME in a rapidly developing sector. 🦟🦗We’ve got further to go and are already on our way – because developing and distributing Black Soldier Fly genetics will always be an ongoing endeavor. So, a big thank you to all our team and collaborators, past and present, from The Roslin Institute, Scottish Enterprise, InnovateUK, EIT Food, EIC Accelerator, UK Agri-Tech Centre, our investors and all those who have worked with us behind the scenes in building Beta Bugs - we are appreciative of the support you have provided us, which has made us who we are today. Onwards and upwards!💪 With special thanks to the below organisations; Deep Science Ventures Innovate UK Innovate UK Business Connect European Commission EIT Food ROSLIN FOUNDATION The Scottish Government Roslin Institute UK Agri-Tech Centre Scottish Enterprise TRICAPITAL Angels Limited SIS Ventures Beeches Group

hello, I am from Indonesia, as long as I am involved in the world of BSF maggots, where is the place that can accommodate large quantities of dried BSF maggots?
