Climate Adaptation & Resilience Expert, Transformative Change Maker, Builder of Things

Update for my colleagues and friends:  I have bittersweet news that today is my last day as a full-time staff member with Farallon Strategies. I will be staying on as a senior advisor! I have learned so much from this company. Together, the FS Team seeks out interesting and challenging projects where we can support transformative climate work across the country. Whether working with local governments building cross-sector collaboratives, delivering TA and capacity building support to Tribes and CBOs, or coordinating with state and federal agencies on a new era of service through climate corps, our work is always rooted in people and purpose.  On a personal note, the last two years have been restorative for me professionally and personally. I have maintained better balance in my life and have experienced first-hand what can be achieved when dedicated people push for local climate action.  I look forward to sharing more soon on how I will be taking those lessons and energy with me into a new local endeavor beginning at the end of this month.

Beth, since we first starting writing your job description months before you came aboard I knew our work together would be deeply collaborative and meaningful. The thoughtfulness you put in to your day to day activities and intentionality about how you supported the team helped build our culture and presence in new markets and regions. I am honored to call you my friend and colleague and am excited about your changes ahead for both you and our community of practice. I also look forward to our continued work together with you as a senior advisor and as a partner in the ongoing growth of our field. Thanks for all that you’ve done and all that you will do ahead. #farastrat
