Since leaving Fox Sports: Shannon Sharpe has: 1) Joined ESPN’s First Take with Stephen A Smith (and has even led the show a few times in SAS’s absence). 2) Started Nightcap with Unc and Ocho (which now has 612K subscribers on YouTube in 4 months). 3) been named The #1 Most Entertaining Sports Media Personality by Complex. 4) Just had the biggest interview of his career with Club Shay Shay ( His Katt Williams Interview now has 23.9 million views in less than 5 days. By the way, Club Shay Shay has 1.5 million subscribers at the time of this post. Moral: When one door closes, FIVE MORE OPEN! 🙌 This has to be your same mantra in your own career. Let's Look at the tables below. LEFT is POINTS table ranking. RIGHT is FAIRPLAY table ranking. Let's find out their Rank Correlation. The formula is like this - R=1−6∑D^2N(N^2−1) or you can use the CORREL function in Excel. Correlation comes to -0.236. Doesn't appear very strong. It is a Moderate to weak negative, but the overall direction seems to be there. Can this suggest (perhaps even moderately) that winning comes at the cost of fair play? Or the fairer you play, the more your chances of loss? and vice versa?
