Is Team Bonding Important⁉️ Well Yes, to a great extent. I realised this when me and couple of my friends got this idea to organise an "Official Day Out" kind of a thing for the BBA department of our college, to disconnect from the academic world and Just Be Ourselves. Well we had a lot of Team Bonding Activities which not only got all of us close but also leveled up our bond. Point Being, Taking A Break or a Day Off to Bond Well will Lead to Increase in the Synergy between colleagues and also increase coordination which will lead to an overall boost in Productivity among Colleagues. So Do Take time off and Bond Well. I have used this model for the basis for many team development sessions. It is not just for HR leaders, it is for all leaders. I find managers/organisations are 'comfortable' setting standards and clear metrics (accountability) THE WHAT they want you to do but most fail to focus on THE HOW, behaviours are overlooked, psychological safety is absent. Build trust, don't be afraid to disagree (have your own opinion), that builds commitment, everyone is accountable and the results will happen.
