Everything you do online should be authentic. The top personal brands in the space have 1 thing in common. They're all genuine and authentic. Their own stories, opinions, personal takes. No forced personas. You'll grow much slower this way but your audience will be top tier.

"These creators, creating audiences and turning them into consumers!!" Interesting approach that works quite well in the digital age. How can brands do it? (Yes you can). 1. Stop just trying to sell stuff. 2. Stop posting product only posts. 3. Start adding value. Educate them about relevant topics that are related to your brand. Do other things... 4. Start giving them a reason to come back to your page - and not only for the next buy-one-get-one-free promotion. God forbid that they should be entertained on your brand page. 5. People visit pages for entertainment/fun, knowledge/skill, how to make $$$, get free stuff. Use them liberally, in the content mix - along with sales or product posts. I am sure there is more. Easier said than done

This article may be a bit repetitive but it is a good read. In my experience, most companies that seek to market their products without taking into account the consumer have a tendency to push products rather than creating a pull in demand. The old school method of marketing to push never quite works that well alone anymore. Those days are gone. Consumers have changed unless the marketing strategy has elements that seek to pull at customers as well, it is always an uphill battle that requires support from sales and business development teams to keep aggressively pushing the product. #marketing #customerorientation #marketingstrategy
