🚨 Time to Rethink Obesity Stigma! 🚨 Dr. Shanker Nesathurai, Chatham-Kent's top health official, is challenging the last socially accepted form of bigotry: the stigma against obesity. He highlights that obesity is often misunderstood and mischaracterized, leading to unfair treatment and discrimination. Obesity is complex, influenced by factors like genetics—it's not just about lifestyle choices. Dr. Nesathurai advocates for dialogue and a change in vocabulary to combat this stigma, much like past efforts during the HIV crisis. Let’s foster understanding and respect for all. #StopTheStigma #HealthForAll #ObesityMatters https://ow.ly/rHNS50Rwo6r
